Thoughtful Thursday


1. List three things that you don’t need, but that you wouldn’t want to live without. My computer, my phone, and my daily jewerly( I feel naked without my ring and bracelet!) 
2. What is your favorite/least favorite household chore? I don't mind doing dishes, but I hate vacuuming! 
3. Tell us about your hobbies (things that you do to relax, to have fun, etc.) I love to read, bake, surf the web on my computer, play my wii u, and watch too much netflix. 
4. What’s your favorite holiday, and why? Christmas. I love getting together with the family. I love seeing the kids open their gifts and I just love everyone being together and the love that surrounds everyone! 
5. It’s Wednesday night. What will you do to enjoy yourself? Well, on most Wednesdays, I come home from work, make dinner, do some homework, hopefully do some Just Dance for exercise, take a shower, and go to bed. Nothing too eventful! :)  
6. Share at least three things that you like about yourself. I like to inspire people, I like my bubbly personality, and I like my smile/laugh. 


7. What are you looking forward to doing most over the coming weekend? I am looking forward to feeling better! I went to the doctors today and found out I have bronchitis so my plans this weekend are to get better and to do homework!  
8. Did you make any goals for January? If so, how are they coming along? I did. My big goal for January was to lose 7-10 pounds. So far I am down 2.6, so hopefully I see a decent loss this week so that I can at least make the 7 pound goal! 
9. Are you in a relationship? Yes, I am. I have been with my boyfriend, Andrew, for the past 5 and a half years. Our 6 year anniversary is in April. 
10. What is your favorite TV channel? I don't have cable, but most the shows I watch are on the CW.

Week 2 January Weigh In!

This week went by pretty decently. There were only a few "off" days. It helped having veggies and fruits cut up and ready to be eaten! My lunch everyday was definitely chicken salad. This week I think my lunches will be ham and turkey sandwiches since they seem to fill me up better then 3oz of chicken does! Tomorrow college officially starts for me, which is a huge deal! I haven't been in school since I graduated HS in 2008. During HS I did take a couple college classes, but I'm excited to get this show on the road! 

This past week I did a good amount of exercising. I've been doing my Just Dance 2015 wii u game for 20-30 minutes everynight. Tonight was my "rest" night. Saturday's will most likely be gym days from now on, as I go with my friends Emily & Sarah! 

Now onto the weigh in!!

I am down 2.4 since last week for a grand total of 23.6! It's nice to see the numbers go down again, I'm excited to get back into the 260's and so on and so forth.

Trying Something New
1. Do you have plans to do anything in 2015 that you didn’t do before? If so, what will you tell us about it? In 2015 I plan to start college, the only college classes I've taken were in HS so.. it's something pretty new to me!
2. Use one word to describe the hardest part of change. Scary
3. What is the last thing you purchased for yourself (outside of necessities?) Fuze tropical flavor. MMM. 
4. What is the best movie you’ve seen in the last 3 months? John Wick! So good. 
5. If you could travel to one place that you’ve never been today, where would you go? Paris, France. 
6. Are you an introvert or an extrovert? It depends on my mood to be honest. Most of the time though, I enjoy being around people.
7. Share one thing for which you are thankful so far in 2015. Family. Both my (to be) in law family and my family in MI and SC. They help Andrew and I through so much. They are also constantly supporting me in my WW journey.

Weigh In Saturday!

My first weigh-in of the year!

CW: 280.2


I am almost caught up to where I was mid December, before the holidays really kicked in. So close to the 270's! I should be in the low 270's or completely out of them by the end of the month, which is really, really exciting! Today, other then cleaning, I am cooking some chicken so I can have chicken salad this week! Also, because chicken tacos are awesome and I have everything to make a delicious chicken taco salad, YUM! 

My Just Dance 2015 wii u game comes on Monday, so I'll be able to get some cardio workout in this week as well! I've decided I'm going to rejoin the gym in April, because by the end of April we will live much, much closer to the gym that I was a member of before! 

My goals for this week are: 


  • 60-64 oz water daily
  • No soda
  • Lose 2 pounds

Happy New Year!

It's the start of a new year and the beginning of me keeping this blog up a little bit more! I haven't weighed in about two weeks. With the holidays and everything I've been fairly well at maintaining in the 280's. By Feb 1st, I will be 270 again! I have decided I will be shooting to lose 7-10 pounds every month. No more screwing around. Andrew's 100% on board with me. Our fridge is currently full of fruits and veggies!

 My parents got me a food processor for Christmas, which is helping out SO much with the meal prep! I'm planning on making chicken salad every couple of days and having that be my lunches through the week! I bough cereal as well. I also have oatmeal to have at work. Andrew's grown fond of fit n' active chocolate breakfast shakes (5 WW points, but he's not on WW like I am). He also LOVES clif bars. Unfortunately they were out of the flavor that I like :'(. Most of my sides for dinner's will include potatoes and green beans. Those are my two favorite things. 

I also recieved a wii u for Christmas from my lovely Andrew. We have been playing mario and kirby, but on Monday Just Dance 2015 will be here and I am stoked! I can't wait to play it!
