Weigh in Saturday!

SW: 301.4
CW: 272.8 


So very close to the 260's! I gained last week and didn't log it, two weeks ago I was 273.8 so I have lost the gain from the week prior along with an extra pound! Woo-hoo! So excited! I'm very proud of how well I am doing this year, I'm not back to my lowest from last year, but I am on my journey there! My goal is to lose 5 pounds this month, currently I am a bit behind so I really hope I'm able to kick some butt the next few weeks! Since I've re-joined the gym, getting in my cardio a few times a week seems to really help things! Also changing up my breakfast for the week might help as well, since I have invested in some delicious quest bars. Also last week was a bit difficult with it being the week after Easter and I probably had more chocolate then I should have! I'm also proud to admit that my pop addiction is no longer an addition, I do still drink it about once a week, but I don't drink it daily like I did for so many, many years!

Meal Plans

I honestly don't know why I even bother making a meal plan, since I never seem to stick with it, but here are the meal ideas for the coming week. 

Pulled BBQ sandwiches (planning on prepping/making this tomorrow in the crockpot!)
Glazed Pork Chops
Baked breaded chicken
Chicken Taco Salad 


Those are my current plans/ideas. I also bought quest bars for my breakfast, since I work early I tend to try and take something easy to eat on the road. I haven't been eating clif bars since they are high in sugar, but quest bars have 20 grams of protein in them and only 2 grams of sugar and they are SUPER good! Sprouts had them on sale 2/$3 this week which is super good, considering they are normally $2.39. I also bought some alexia brand fries. They are organic and supposed to be delicious. Also less calories then the fries I normally buy at the grocery store, so I am excited to try them! I went to the gym this past week on Saturday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Today I was just feeling off so I didn't end up going. I'm trying really hard to go 3 days a week. I'll probably increase how often I go once school is done, but trying to mix school, work, and gym time is gonna difficult. Plus both my classes have two huge projects that are due in the next few weeks of class, so that's fun. I'll be off for the summer! I have a goal weight in mind for my birthday this year, but I am also constantly reminding myself that this is NOT a race.

March Update!

For the month of March I lost 5.4 pounds! My scale is moving in the right direction! I have also re-joined the gym and am trying to go 3 times a week! School, work, and gym take up all my time so I'm trying not to over do it! Last weekend I went to the zoo and hit my highest step count of about 16,000 steps! Next weekend Andrew and I might be going back to the zoo for our 6 year anniversary. We haven't been to the zoo together since 2011 when my parents visited, so it would be a ton of fun! 

My goal for April is to lose another 5 pounds and to continue to improve myself at the gym. My top favorite machine right now is the elliptical. Right now I can do 2.43 miles in 35 minutes, which is a pretty awesome improvement from when I use to barely be able to do 5 minutes! lol!
